How Pilgiche Tools Work
Different outputs use different methods. This page explains the shared engines and the limits of their results.
Unicode Conversion
Supported ASCII letters and digits are mapped to Unicode typographic characters. Letterlike-symbol exceptions are included so alphabet positions remain complete. Spaces, punctuation, emoji and unsupported characters pass through unchanged. The result is text, not an installed font.
Rendering depends on the device or app's fallback fonts. Some styles do not include matching digits. Decorative characters can be less convenient for search and assistive technology, so preserve an ordinary-text version of important wording.
Real Script Fonts and PNG
The font registry is shared by the tools. Font files are self-hosted, with no third-party font CDN used for the previews. PNG exports wait for the selected font, then draw the text onto a browser canvas at a higher pixel scale. Transparent output leaves the background unpainted.
A PNG preserves visual appearance but is a raster image, not editable text. Browser font rendering can differ slightly, and enlarging an image beyond its dimensions can reduce clarity.
Worksheet Preview and PDF
The preview and PDF use the same A4 geometry, row planning and four-line guides. The selected practice font is embedded in the PDF from a supported self-hosted TTF file. Tracing, copying and blank modes offer different amounts of model text.
The resources are personal practice aids. Font forms are not presented as a universal handwriting standard, and a finished letter preview does not specify a complete stroke order.
Browser-Side Processing and Limits
Typed tool input, canvas rendering and PDF generation run in your browser. We do not store a history of your text on our server. An input included manually in a URL is part of that URL request, so avoid putting confidential text in query parameters.
Signature images are design references, not identity verification or authenticated signing. Font licenses are listed below; check the selected license and any other material in your design before a particular use.
